While reading through chapter one in our literature books I could not help but to come on myself drawn to one recital in particular. A story that I found myself relating to, a story that I matte up as if I could have wrote the analogous story myself. kick in you ever been reading something only to realize that you yourself could have compose this piece of literature for you felt as if you have the same thought process or been through a standardized experience as the acknowledgment in the story? You must ask yourself what captured my imagination, was it a feeling, an emotion, a curiosity, or an aspiration that pull me to this writing. When you experience a piece of literature that you feel a connection with it is not very hard to use the reader-response analytic approach to further explore the emotional connection dual-lane between you, the reader, and the selection you have chosen. I know for me I agilely felt a connection between the character Mr. Mitty, and myself in the short story written by jam Thurber, James Thurber was an author who wrote many satirical pieces throughout the valet de chambre wars and depression period of 1914-1945 (Marshal, D. 2011).

The story of Walter Mitty was an immediate favorite of mine and could not help but to find myself reading this selection over and over again. Each cadence discovering and understanding a little bit more active the character and the daily struggles he has to face.
