When Ismene is telling Antigone why she is not going to help bury the body she reveals her determine regarding verity: Think how much more terrible than these our throw death would be if we should go against Creon and do what he has proscribe! Its strong because she is saw that you should not disobey the law of the state. Its clear that when Antigone is telling Ismene that she is going to bury the body, she reveals her values regarding loyalty when the author writes, But I will bury him; and if I must die, I say that this crime is holy: I shall lie down with him in death, and I shall be as dear to him as he to me.
